Starting in summer 2011, the CITQ will be handling the classification of golf courses in Quebec on behalf of the Quebec Golf Course Owners Association (ATGQ). As such, it helps develop and update classification and certification criteria, and conducts classification visits.
Golf course classification
The ATGQ’s voluntary golf course classification program uses over 200 criteria covering the quality of infrastructures, facilities, services and equipment, and sustainable development. Golf courses will be rated on a scale of one to five stars.
